Menier Venues

Menier Venues offer a variety of high-end event and studio spaces in the heart of central London. Their venues are popular with the creative industries and have been featured in commercial work for fashion magazines and music videos. Their previous website was unbranded, failing to communicate the quality of their spaces and services. Our Designers created a completely new brand identity and UX direction.

  • Menier provided us with stunning photography of their spaces, we wanted to utilise this and present the unique characteristics of each space to the audience. The listing page features large, impactful images for each space. Below the listing, we provide a window to keep exploring the website by advertising their services. To make customer enquiries as simple as possible, we provide a call to action in the navigation which anchors users to the footer, where they can view locations on a map, use the contact form and view social media profiles.

  • Each venue has its own unique character, features and functions. We wanted to allow the space to express itself through its imagery. A minimal, graphic interface paired with a beautiful serif font by Colophon type foundry gave the brand a luxury, quality visual tone that combined modern with classic.

  • We employed matterport technology to provide a virtual tour of each venue, a description with testimonials and a floor plan with highlighted features. A second gallery presents the commercial usage of the space, and links users to start exploring studio spaces (Since some venues can be used for both events and studios). We then advertise catering services and display the other venues, while the footer provides users with location, social and contact details.

  • Below the fold of the page we introduce the space and display an auto-rotating carousel gallery, which can include both images and videos that open in a lightbox view detailing the media.

  • Studio space templates contain the same modular functionality as event venues, with the addition of multiple cover images displaying in a gallery layout. Menier required that the spaces be represented alike to the thumbnails users experience on social platforms (such as instagram), since currently most of their traffic for studio spaces is driven via their social media channels on handheld devices.
